タリーの姉妹校St Clare's校での１０日間の研修とシドニーでの２日間の研修を終え、無事に帰国いたしました。ホストファミリーや現地校での先生方の手厚いサポートに支えられ、今年もとても有意義な研修を行うことができました。日々、人生初の経験をたくさんし、大きく視野が広がった２週間となりました。この経験を糧に、そしてお世話になった方々への感謝の気持ちを心に刻んで、これからも大きく飛躍してもらいたいと思います。

８月３・４日シドニー研修

8月3日（金）

今日の朝はFarewell Partyでみんなたくさん泣きました。3箱用意していた

ティッシュの箱があっという間になくなってしまうほどに。

とても純粋で美しい涙でした。共に過ごしたのはたったの10日間でしたが、

彼らがどんなに素晴らしい関係を育んでいたのかが、とてもよく伝わってきました。

午前10時にセント・クレア校を出発し、夕方にシドニーに到着しました。

オペラハウスを見学し、ショッピングを楽しみ、ハーバーブリッジとオペラハウス

が見える海沿いのレストランで夕食をいただきました。オペラハウスの上に浮かんだ

夜空に輝く満月がとてもきれいでした。

明日はブルーマウンテンズに行きます。

お別れ会では、一人一人がホスト生から二人が写った写真と心のこもったメッセージカードをもらいました。 

August 1  Wed.

Weather has been very nice since we got here. It is a bit cold in the morning and

some students are sneezing, but all 25 girls were well enough to attend all the classes planned

 today. We had aboriginal cultural lessons and had Kangaroo meat at recess. It was another

precious experience for us. We also had the Japanese cultural presentation and it was really

successful. Australian students and teachers enjoyed our performance which included

"Fishermen dance" or "Soran-bushi." We might be in the local newspaper tomorrow !!

July 27  Fri.

We've just got back from an overnight stay at Bonny Hills.

Starting the day with a picturesque morning glow on the beach, we enjoyed

taking pictures with koalas, an alligator and monkeys at Billabong Park

with our host sisters and brothers. In the afternoon we visited Port Macquarie,

where we had lunch and did some shopping.  We are very lucky we've been blessed

with fine weather.

We safely got to Taree last evening at 6:30 pm.

All the students are well and had a wonderful first day at St. Clare's.

At the welcome assembly Risa made an eloquent speech.

We are going to take part in the school social (school dance party) this evening.
